The title of "Teacher" carries a lot of responsibility. As educators, we are obligated to give our students the best training, knowledge and skillsets and develop them as social, rational and autonomous human beings. Easy, right?
On top of this, we are given very few resources and little room to maneuver to accomplish this. Don't even get me started on the time constraints.
As such, we have evolved to become highly adaptable, flexible and resourceful beings. With the rise of the technological age, we now have incredible resources at our fingertips to work with. Technology allows us to take education to places and levels that a century ago were unfathomable. However, there are trials and tribulations with the rise of technology, and it is such a new phenomena that there is no concrete method of how best to use technology in educational settings.
One of the most powerful things technology has given teachers is the ability to share and communicate with each other. We can post/ send/ share our ideas, problems and victories, ask for help and advice when needed, and discuss with each other and other members of the educational community. This site is an outlet just for that.
