Shall we begin?

Tired of boring presentations that doesn't stimulate you visually?
Do you feel like you would've learned more if the presentation slides were more interesting? Prezi is here to change that.
At its core, Prezi is a presentation software that goes beyond the conventional. Prezi is a presentation resource that can be used to tell stories, express ideas and inspire their audiences to act. Unlike other presentation slides that are stiff and boxy, Prezi features a limitless zoomable canvas which allows you to show the relationship between the big picture and the fine details. The zooming feature which adds added depth to your presentation allows your content to be engaging, intriguing and striking. No matter what subject for school you are presenting about, Prezi allows your information to be memorable to your classmates as well as teachers.
Does it fit in an educational context?

Because the education system heavily emphasizes on the idea that learning can be achieved through school projects, Prezi becomes quite an important presentation software for students of all education levels to present what they have learned to their class. Being in an education system with projects being numerous, Prezi allows a breath of fresh air from the conventional way of presenting slides with Microsoft Powerpoint.Powerpoint can be quite mundane, with square slides of the same backgrounds being showed over and over again, boring the audience when the content itself is actually interesting.
With Prezi, the layout of the presentation becomes very dynamic and moveable. This allows students to guide the eyes of their audiences to what they desire. The hefty amount of options to customize your slides allow students to not only better express their ideas but also their creativity. A major advantage Prezi has over other presentation software is that Prezi allows users to co-edit. No longer do students need to be in one physical setting to collaborate on presentation slides. Prezi allows multiple students to collaborate, edit and manage the group's presentation in a virtual space which is ideal for group projects.
How about the TPACK framework?
Not only can Prezi be useful for students to present their ideas but teachers can also benefit from using the software to engage their students. Because humans are very visual creatures, students learn better when images are stimulating to the brain. Prezi allows the stimulation process to happen. With brightly coloured custom themes, slides that bounce in and out and simply just the novelty of such a presentation layout send students' visual brain waves going.
Just like a flashy blockbuster movie, when students are engaged visually, they are more likely to listen to the content whether it is interesting or dry. With the aid of Prezi during lectures, students would be more interested, focused and engaged, creating a more positive learning experience for both the teacher and the students.
Is it flawless at all?
Prezi is an amazing web based application, however limitations are still present.
Although Prezi is free, it only allows a maximum storage of 100MB in each free account. In addition to the storage limitations, free accounts also lacks privacy settings, customer support and enchanced photo editing.
Accounts that are free cannot be edited offline which means editing the content requires constant internet connection.
Due to the complexity of the software, Prezi has a much greater learning curve than other presentation tools. Prezi may require additional instructional lessons on how to operate the software.
Due to the numerous amount of movements in a Prezi presentation, motion sickness may be a problem to audiences who are sensitive which would negatively impact their learning experience.
Content may appear to be unstructured due to the non-linear way of how the slides transition.
And in conclusion I present you a Prezi that promotes the preference for Prezis:
